Little Lies


Need to release the grip on my own heart.
Yeah, this is the hardest part: letting yourself lose control.
But isn’t that the best part?
And it’s not our fault we passed each other by.
I can’t keep crawling to you every time, i have a revelation.
For whatever-this-is enduring brutal stagnation.
I get cut off when i drag along this useless continuation of the palpitations crushing my chest.
I tell myself, give it a rest. But i always fail the test.

I know, i'm just a failure.
